TKA GENERAL ASSEMBLY`S WEBSITE LAUNCHED IN ANKARA

Baku, June 9, (AzerTAc). The website of General Assembly of Association of Turkish Speaking News Agencies (TKA) was presented here.
Speaking at the event on the occasion, Turkey`s Director General of Press and Information Salih Melek briefed the participants on the history of TKA.
The website posted a congratulatory letter by Director-General of AzerTAc Aslan Aslanov. The letter says “the launch of the new website will contribute to disseminating news on ongoing social, political, economic and humanitarian changes in our countries across a broader geographic area. It will also contribute to developing relations between our friendly peoples and cooperation between our agencies”.
Chairman of TKA General Assembly said the website would contribute to boosting dialogue and fraternal ties among “our peoples”.
Turkish Anadolu Agency Director General and Executive Board President Hilmi Bengi said the decision to launch the Association`s website was adopted during the 7th TKA General Assembly held in Baku on 30 April-2 May.
According to him, the new website will play a great role in spreading news efficiently.
Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc launched the new websites of TKA, Directorate General of Press and Information and Anadolu Agency.
