Qatar's MOPH, Partners Launch Antimicrobial Awareness Campaign

Doha, December 05 (QNA) - The Ministry of Public Health launched a campaign raising awareness on how to deal carefully with antimicrobial. A number of healthcare facilities in the State of Qatar are participating in the campaign. It aims to raise awareness on antimicrobial resistance and encouraging the best practices among the public, stakeholders, and policy makers in order to limit antimicrobials resistance. The campaign came within the framework of the activities organized by the Ministry of Public Health in cooperation with its partners on the occasion of the celebration of the World Antimicrobial Awareness Week. The Ministry of Public Health is working on updating the National Action Plan to tackle antimicrobial resistance by 2023. (QNA)
