ARMY BUILDING PROCESS ‘UNDER SERIOUS CONTROL’ IN AZERBAIJAN
Baku, June 9 (AzerTAc). The process of army building in Azerbaijan is under serious control, said first vice-president of the Parliament, chair of the parliamentary committee on security and defense Ziyafet Asgarov.
Speaking to an extraordinary session of the parliament, Asgarov said “the President, Commander-in-Chief places particular emphasis on providing financial and technical support to the Armed Forces”.
“Several media outlets have spread false information about the army situation in the country.”
“A recent incident at a Garaheybat training camp of the defense ministry was investigated.
The media reports on the incident were groundless. The situation is under control.”
