Doha, December 10 (QNA) - Qatari newspapers, in their editorial today, highlighted the participation of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in the meeting of the 43rd session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf at the summit level and the Riyadh Gulf-China Summit for Co-operation and Development. The newspapers shed light on the Gulf and Chinese praises for the State of Qatar's hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and its role in the civilizational and cultural rapprochement between the peoples of the world, while the largest and most important event in the world of football continues to enhance sustainability and break records with its first time on Arab soil in Qatar. Titled "Success of the Riyadh Summits," Al Sharq newspaper said that the participation of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in the meeting of the 43rd session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf at the summit level and the Riyadh Gulf-China Summit for Co-operation and Development reflected the great interest of His Highness and Their Majesties, Highnesses, and Excellencies, the leaders and heads of GCC delegations in strengthening solidarity and cooperation with various partners in the region and the world, in a way that benefits the GCC and Arab countries and peoples and achieves their aspirations for stability and prosperity. The paper pointed out that the State of Qatar deserved the praise and congratulations received by His Highness from the three Riyadh summits and the leaders participating in them, led by HE President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping and HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, for its success in organizing and hosting the FIFA World Cup 2022 and the championship's positive effects on the human heritage and the cultural and intellectual rapprochement between the peoples of the world, as the world witnessed an exceptional edition organized by Qatar. Al Sharq underlined that the three summits organized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and brought together Arab leaders with China, succeeded in strengthening the historical relations between the Arab countries and China and laid the foundation for raising these distinguished relations to a new level that would strengthen the strategic partnership and join efforts to face common development challenges, achieve the common interest, and support the security and peace in the region and the world by finding political solutions to regional crises and issues, in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and relevant agreements and references. Under the title "Achieving Stability and Prosperity," Al Watan newspaper said HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani headed the delegation of the State of Qatar to the 43rd Summit of the Supreme Council of GCC Leaders, the Gulf-Chinese Summit for Cooperation and Development, and the Arab-Chinese Summit, adding that the summits received great Arab and international attention, because of the status and capabilities of its participants and the current international situation. HH the Amir and HE President of the friendly People's Republic of China Xi Jinping held an official session of talks in Riyadh, during which they discussed the strategic partnership relations between the two friendly countries and aspects of their development in various fields, it added. Al Watan indicated that the Gulf summit came in light of extremely sensitive conditions in the region and the world, which calls for more efforts to strengthen the process of joint Gulf action to preserve everything that would enhance the security and stability of the GCC countries by building bridges of cooperation and coordination with brotherly and friendly countries to enhance the development capabilities of the GCC countries, and to maintain the security and stability of the region. HH the Amir also held an official talks session with HE the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.
