HM King delegates justice minister at launch of Mustafa Endowment

Amman, Dec. 11 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has delegated Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda to participate in the launch of the Mustafa Endowment for reading the Holy Qur’an in the blessed Al Aqsa Mosque. HM King Abdullah signed the inauguration of the endowment at a ceremony attended by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, , HM’s chief adviser for religious and cultural affairs and personal envoy HRH Prince Ghazi bin Mohammed, members of the Jerusalem Islamic Endowment Council, members of the endowment council, donors and ambassadors from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation states. Al Maawda praised the announcement of this endowment, which comes within the initiatives for the consolidation of Al Aqsa Mosque and in the service of the Holy Quran to preserve the Islamic identity of Al Aqsa Mosque and the recitation and teaching of the Book of God.
