Russia affirms support for Yemen's stability, unity

MOSCOW, June 09 (Saba)- The Russian President's representative of
the Middle Eastern Affairs Alexander Sultanov affirmed Tuesday his
country's support to the unity and stability in Yemen.

During his meeting with Yemeni diplomat to Russia Mohammed Saleh
al-Hailai, Sultanov affirmed that Russia will provide Yemen with all
possible assistance to overcome the difficulties of development and
sea piracy acts in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

Sultanov called political forces in Yemen to adopt dialogue to
address risks facing country, affirming the importance of its unity
which will reinforce neighbors' stability.

Both sides discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation between the
two countries and ways of enhancing them in the light of the results
of President Ali Abdullah Saleh visit to Moscow.

The Yemeni diplomat briefed the Russian official on exerted effort
of the political leadership to improve development and
democratization in Yemen.
