Doha, January 04 (QNA) - Qatari newspapers on Wednesday condemned storming the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque yesterday by Minister of National Security in the Israeli entity, Itamar Ben-Gvir, under heavy protection of the Israeli occupation forces, considering it a flagrant violation of the international law. The Qatari dailies affirmed that the continuation of the provocative violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque reveals the occupation's desire to shift the conflict into a religious war, adding that the State of Qatar has warned of the dangerous malicious Israeli plans to impose de facto authority by intensifying daily incursions and deliberately insulting Islamic and Christian sanctities in Jerusalem. In its editorial, Al-Raya newspaper said that Al-Aqsa Mosque is in imminent danger unless action is taken to stop the fierce Judaization campaign. The newspaper pointed out that the State of Qatar has strongly condemned Israeli National Security Minister's storming of the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, considering it a flagrant violation of the international law and the Hashemite guardianship over the holy sites in Occupied Jerusalem. It noted that Doha warned against the escalation policy pursued by the occupation government in the Palestinian territories, which is pushing the region towards an endless war through attempts to change the religious and historical status of Al-Aqsa Mosque. It called on the international community to take urgent action to stop these attacks, which provoke millions of Muslims around the world. Al-Raya also highlighted the importance of stopping all Israeli crimes that affect Al-Aqsa Mosque by launching an international campaign that exposes Israel and forces the world to take a firm stance against Israel, explaining that the international impotence in front of what Israel is doing is a green light for it to continue its genocide against the Palestinians. The newspaper concluded by stressing that the Qatari support for the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people remained constant, stressing that Qatar renews its firm position on the justice of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital.
