Al-Arhabi meets WB's inspection team
SANA'A, June 10 (Saba) - Minister of Planning and International
Cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi met here on Wednesday with World
Bank Inspection Panel's team, visiting Yemen currently.
The team's visit aims to get acquainted with the nature of
governmental and community visions related to the performance level
of WB's programs and projects in Yemen.
Al-Arhabi briefed the WB's team on the nature and kind of reforms
executed in a number of sectors, renewing Yemen's keenness on going
ahead in those reforms based on the Yemeni national interests.
Minister al-Arhabi affirmed the government's interest in engaging
the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in all activities of the
Ministry either in the developmental plans or in the programs funded
by donors including WB.
He confirmed that the reforms process requires big efforts to go
forwards, confirming the government's willingness on strengthening
the partnership culture with the CSOs and private sector in this
regard.
Al-Arhabi voiced the government's appreciation for WB's
contributions to supporting reforms and development in Yemen.
