Qatari-Turkish Joint Higher Military Committee Holds Fifth Meeting

Doha, January 11 (QNA) - The Ministry of Defense hosted the fifth meeting of the Qatari-Turkish Joint Higher Military Committee. The Qatari side in the meeting was chaired by HE Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, while the Turkish side was led by HE Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces General Yasar Guler. The meeting dealt with a number of issues on the committee's agenda related to strengthening the existing cooperation between the two countries in various military and security fields. It was attended by a number of senior commanders and officers of the Qatar Armed Forces, as well as members of the Turkish delegation. (QNA)
