Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques inspects project of KAUST

Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, June 10, SPA --The Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud paid today an inspection
visit to the project of King Abdullah University of Science and
Technology (KAUST) located in Thuwal in the western part of the
Kingdom.

The first academic year of the university will start on 5th of
September, 2009.
The university's official inauguration will take place during the
Kingdom's celebrations of its 79th National Day anniversary.
Upon arrival at the venue, the Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques was received by Eng. Khalid Al-Faleh, President and CEO of
Saudi Armco; Eng. Ali Al-Ajmi, Vice President of Saudi Armco; Nazhmi
Al-Nasser, the First Deputy President of KAUST and a number of
officials.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was briefed on the contents and
progress of the project.
