MEETING OF ASSOCIATION OF TURKISH SPEAKING NEWS AGENCIES (TKA) HELD IN ANKARA

Ankara, 11 June (AzerTAc). A meeting of the Association of Turkish Speaking News Agencies (ТКА) took place in the Anatolian Agency in Ankara on 10 June.
Prior to the meeting, the Chairman of Board and General Director of Anatolian Agency Hilmi Bengi and the General Director of the Northern Cyprus News Agency Emir Ersoy signed a protocol on exchange of photos stored in the photo archive in connection with activity of the Association of the Turkish Speaking News Agency.
Then, the General Director of Anatolian Agency Hilmi Bengi welcomed representatives of member countries of the Association of the Turkish Speaking News Agencies and asked to express their opinions on the re-created Internet site of TKA. H. Bengi noted that the state TV TRT, Central Department of Press and Publishing Houses of the Cabinet of Turkey also have expressed desire to co-operate with ТКА in connection with news on the new website.
Chief engineer of AzerTAc Javani Agayev, the General Director of Northern Cyprus News Agency Emir Ersoy and the General Director of Agency “Krymskiye Novosti” (Crimean News) Gayana Yuksel expressed opinions on the new site, making suggestions on its further improvement. It was especially underlined that Association of Turkish Speaking News Agencies has done a lot last years, especially after the General Assembly of TKA was held in Baku, in the field of the further rapprochement of news agencies of the brotherly and friendly countries, strengthening of their cooperation.
As stated, the host country of the next session of General Assembly of Association of the Turkish Speaking News Agencies will be determined after consultations with the Chairman of General Assembly of TKA, General Director AzerTAc Aslan Aslanov.
After the meeting, representatives of the Association of Turkish Speaking News Agencies have planted saplings in the grove that belongs to Anatolian News Agency in the area Gelbashi in Ankara.
