Qatar Participates in Committee of Presidents and Directors of Higher Education Institutions Meeting in GCC Countries

Dammam, January 26 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in the 25th meeting of presidents and directors of universities and higher education institutions of the GCC countries, which was held today at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in Dammam, in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Presidents and directors of universities and institutions of higher education in the GCC countries discussed a number of important issues, foremost of which is the implementation of the decisions of the esteemed Supreme Council related to higher education in the GCC countries, and the decisions of the ministers of higher education and scientific research in the GCC countries. They also reviewed the results and recommendations of the Committee of Vice Deans of Universities and Higher Education Institutions in the GCC countries, and what they included in the results of the work of the technical committees working under the umbrella of the GCC, and took the appropriate decisions in this regard.
