AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV OFFERS GREETINGS TO RUSSIAN COUNTERPART DMITRY MEDVEDEV

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulation to his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev on the country`s public holiday, Russia Day.
The message reads: “Today, Russia is confidently moving forward on the path towards developing and strengthening statehood, realizing democratic reforms and modernizing different spheres of life. The country`s influence is increasing and strengthening in the world. Azerbaijan and Russia are bound together with centuries-long friendship and neighborhood relations. I am sure these good relations will help us to expand our mutual activity and deepen the Azerbaijan-Russia strategic partnership in the name of the welfare of our peoples and peace and security in the Caucasus.
I wish you, Dmitry Anatolyevich, robust health, happiness and further successes, and whole people of Russia peace and prosperity.”
