FINAL CONFERENCE OF PROJECT ON ECHR TRAINING FOR AZERBAIJANI PROSECUTORS HELD IN BAKU
Baku, 12 June (AzerTAc). The final conference of the project on training of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) for Azerbaijan`s prosecutors was held here with support of the Council of Europe.
Attending the event, head of the CoE Office in Baku Veronika Kotek said Azerbaijan had made some progress towards ensuring human rights.
According to him, cooperation between Azerbaijan and CoE on human rights protection yields its fruits.
Veronika Kotek noted about 700 employees of prosecutor`s bodies of Azerbaijan were trained with CoE`s support in 2007 and a group of them participated in seminars in Strasbourg.
