Single earthquake measuring 3 on Richter reported at Harrat

Riyadh, June 12, SPA -- Saudi National Network for Seismological
Detection has registered a single earthquake measuring 3 degrees on
Richter scale over the last 24 hours in a addition to tens of minor
aftershocks of less than three degrees on the Richter scale.

In a statement, the Saudi Geological Survey Commission said it was
monitoring the seismological activity and the associated changes in
terms of change of quakes' wavy shapes, thermal and radon gas
measures and its scientific significance.
The authority expressed hope that the situation would soon come back
to stability.
