President Saleh returns to Sana'a

SANA'A, June 14 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh returned on
Sunday to the capital Sana'a, ending his inspecting tour, which
included governorates of Taiz and Aden.

On Sunday morning, Saleh paid a visit to Dalei governorate, holding
a meeting, in which he discussed with the officials and local
council members several issues concerning with the citizens in the
governorate, topped by their needs for the service and developmental
projects, especially in roads, education, health and electricity
fields.

In his speech, Saleh affirmed that he has directed the government to
work on executing the decisions and recommendations of the expanded
sub-conferences of local councils held in all governorates either in
the current budget or in the next year's, pointing to the importance
of those conferences in strengthening the bases of transition to the
local ruling of wide authorities.

"The citizens' concerns and ambitions are so much but the focusing
is on the service projects", Saleh said, emphasizing on the
necessity of citizens' cooperation with the state's bodies for
reinforcing security and stability.

"Under democracy, everybody has the right to express his opinion
freely but within the limits of constitution and laws and respecting
the national constants, revolution, republic, Unification and
democracy, and away from chaos, ravage and disturbing the social
peace", said Saleh.

The President directed the local authority in the governorate to
take its responsibility in following up the citizens' issues and he
directed the government to speed up finalizing the road of 67Km
linking between Dalei and Janad.

On the other hand, President Saleh visited al-Shahid Aboud Camp in
Dalei governorate, getting acquainted with the progress in executing
the training programs in the camp.

"The armed and security forces institution is the big national
institution which represents the symbol of the nation unity ",
President Saleh said.

The President also paid a visit to Moris Camp. He was introduced to
the training programs, praising the morals of soldiers in the camp.

He pointed to the advanced developments achieved by the armed forces
and security, which made it able at various circumstances to carry
out its duties and tasks competently.

The President affirmed his permanent interest in the training
aspects and the upgrade qualitative building that convey with all
developments in military construction field.

He confirmed that the existence of strong armed and security forces
is one of the goals of the revolution to achieve the stability and
development in the country and to protect the revolution, unity and
democracy.

"These big national institutions have thwarted all plots that
targeted the homeland", President Saleh said concluding that the
country is going ahead confidently towards achieving hopes and
ambitions of the people.
