Al-Qaeda financier in Yemen, Saudi Arabia arrested

SANA'A, June 14 (Saba) - Security Authority have managed to arrest
few days ago a man said to be the financer for al-Qaeda in Yemen and
Saudi Arabia.

A security official told the state-run 26sep.net that the man called
Hasan Hessian Bin Alwan, a Saudi national, is the financer of the
operations carried out by al-Qaeda in Yemen and Saudi Arabia.

He is the most dangerous and wanted man in al-Qaeda, the source said.

Last Marsh, an explosion at a tourist site in southern governorate
of Hadramout killed four South Korean tourists and a Yemeni man.

The blast injured three other South Koreans, in the city of Shibam
of Hadramout governorate. It occurred as the tourists visited Shibam
city, a UNESCO world heritage site, dubbed the "Manhattan of the
Desert", which boasts some of the region's tallest 16th century
buildings.

Few days later, a suicide bomber has attacked a South Korean
delegation visiting Yemen after the deadly attack on tourists in
Shibam city.

Officials said no one apart from the bomber was harmed in this
attack.

The Korean convoy was driving back to the airport in Sana'a, when
the bomber detonated an explosives belt.

The security authorities said that the attackers were linked to
al-Qaeda elements in Yemen.
