Birthday Spread to Woman Centenarian

Pyongyang, June 13 (KCNA) -- The DPRK sees an increasing number of centenarians.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Pak Kum Sun, a woman centenarian residing in people's neighbourhood unit No. 97, Thongilgori-dong No. 3, Rangnang District of Pyongyang Municipality, on her 100th birthday.

Born into a day laborer's family before national liberation, Pak had to suffer humiliation and contempt. It was not until the country was liberated that she could lead a worthwhile life.

With a single mind to repay the benefits of the country that made her find her true life and dignity, she had sincerely worked hard with a clean conscience.

She brought up her children well to hold important posts in socialist construction. Even after becoming a pensioner, she has continued to help her children with their revolutionary tasks, always telling them to do more good jobs for the country's prosperity. -0-
