Many Saplings Produced

Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- The North Hwanghae Provincial Tree Nursery in the DPRK has grown more than twelve million saplings of scores of species this year.

The tree nursery directed primary efforts to securing seeds and increasing the fertility of soil, and secured enough nutrients and stimulants. And it cultivated the young trees well through weeding, agrochemical applying, etc.

The tree nursery provided scores of species of saplings, including young chestnut trees, to over 100 units in Unpha, Suan and Hwangju counties and other areas of the province. -0-
