Saleh writes GCC leaders

MUSCAT, June 17 (Saba) - Vice President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi
handed over a letter Wednesday to Oman's Sultan Qaboos Bin Said from
President Ali Abdullah Saleh concerning the bilateral relationship.

The letter also dealt with the latest regional and international
developments.

Hadi was received by Sultan Said at the Bait al-Baraka in Oman's
capital of Muscat.

During a meeting at the Bait al-Baraka, Yemen and Oman talked bout
ways to promote mutual cooperation on all fronts as well as a number
of issues of mutual interests.

Hadi arrived in Oman earlier today for a two-day stop which comes
within a Gulf tour taking him to the other five GCC member states.

Hadi is carrying letters for leaders of the GCC countries from Saleh
discussing the bilateral relationship with each and issues of mutual
concern at the regional and international levels.
