Buckingham Palace hosts economic workshop on investment in Saudi
London, June 17, SPA --In the presence of Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf
bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland;
Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of
Directors of "Atheeb Telecom Group" and the Duke of York Prince
Andrew who is also Britain's special representative for international
trade and development, the Royal Buckingham Palace hosted here today,
a high-level Saudi-Britain meeting in which the prospects of British
investment opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were
discussed.
The workshop was also attended by other Saudi princes and a
number of high-ranking Saudi and British officials and dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf stressed that
this meeting reflects the commitment of the two countries to move
forward in cooperation and partnership in all fields, particularly in
the areas of investment.
Then, the Duke of York Prince Andrew delivered a speech in which he
called on businessmen in Britain to take advantage of the promising
investment opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting that
Saudi Arabia has taken significant steps to develop its vital
facilities and expand its economic programs.
He also hailed the historical relations of friendship existing
between the two friendly Kingdoms.
