AZERBAIJANI SPEAKER MEETS CHINESE AMBASSADOR
Baku, June 18 (AzerTAc). Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Parliament, the Milli Majlis, Ogtay Asadov has met today Chinese ambassador Zhang Yannian.
Asadov said Azerbaijan places particular importance on expansion of relations with China, adding “this is one of key priorities in Azerbaijan`s foreign priority”.
On economic cooperation, Asadov said “there are wide opportunities for expansion of relations in this field”.
He praised China`s supporting Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity and the country`s stance on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Yannian stressed the role of parliaments in expansion of bilateral relations.
