Sports Contest of Workers Held in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) -- The 2023 National Sports Contest of Workers took place at gymnasiums and stadiums in Hamhung and Jongju cities of the DPRK from August 18 to 24, divided into the eastern and western regions.

More than 450 players selected from institutions and industrial establishments of each province competed in basketball (women), volleyball (men), Taekwon-Do and table-tennis events.

South Hamgyong Province came first in total standings in the eastern region and South Phyongan Province in total standings in the western region. -0-
