Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- The Chinese party and government delegation led by Liu Guozhong, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and vice-premier of the State Council of China, laid a floral basket at the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill here on Sept. 9.

Present there were Mun Song Hyok, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Pak Myong Ho, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and Wang Yajun Chinese ambassador to the DPRK.

A floral basket in the name of the delegation was laid before the statues.

Written in the ribbons of the floral basket were letters reading "We deeply remember President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il".

The participants paid high tribute to the statues of the great leaders who devoted their whole life to the prosperity of the country, happiness of the people, justice and peace of mankind and made immortal contributions to the development of the DPRK-China friendly relations and the accomplishment of the cause of global independence with their outstanding idea and energetic leadership. -0-
