INNOVATION DAY DEDICATED
Baku, 19 June (AzerTAc). The capital`s Hotel Park INN today hosted the Microsoft Innovation Day Forum as part of the Microsoft`s global initiative. The forum was organized by the Microsoft Azerbaijan Company.
The opening ceremony was addressed by Teymur Akhundov, General Manager of Microsoft Azerbaijan, who said the forum is aimed at showing impact of innovations upon the development of the country and human society.
Kamran Huseynov, Chairman of the State Author Rights Agency, has updated the audience on anti-piracy campaign, implemented by the Agency. Elmir Velizade, Deputy Minister for Communications and Information Technologies has outlined priority of information technologies for the country. Chairman of the State Author Rights Agency Kamran Imanov and Corporate Manager of Microsoft Azerbaijan Eldar Jahangirov made reports at the Forum.
The Microsoft Azerbaijan Company functions since 2005. The Company pursues policy of developing software market, promoting products of corporation, supporting partners and customers and implementing social projects in Azerbaijan.
