SEVENTH BAKU INT`L CONFERENCE OF OMBUDSPERSONS ADOPTS DECLARATION
Baku, 19 June (AzerTAc). The 7th Baku International Conference of Ombudspersons entitled “Bioethics, Human Rights and New Technologies: legal and ethical aspects of reproductive health and family planning” ended here on Friday with adoption of a declaration.
The document features various issues including developing cooperation with the parliament and other structures, as well as NGOs to ensure effective protection of human rights, carrying out projects together with international and regional organizations and human rights institutions, protection of the rights of various strata of population, developing education on human rights, combating human trafficking and corruption and ensuring gender equality.
