Bahraini Ambassador participates in Abraham Accords third anniversary celebration

Brussels, Sept. 14 (BNA): Abdulla Faisal Jabr Al-Dosari, Bahraini Ambassador to Belgium and Head of its Diplomatic Mission to the European Union, has participated in a ceremony hosted by the Hungarian Embassy to Belgium, in cooperation with the member of the Belgian Parliament, MP Michael Freilich, on the occasion of the third anniversary of the signing of the Abraham Accords.
Ambassadors of the signatory countries to the Abraham Accords, namely the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Morocco, the United States of America and the State of Israel, in addition to their Azeri counterpart and representatives of embassies, as well as Belgian and European media and press personnel were also present.
MP Michael Freilich delivered a speech in which he praised the Abraham Accords and their major role in building bridges of communication, enhancing trade exchange, and exchanging experiences in various fields, which would contribute to enhancing peace and rapprochement between the peoples of the region and the world.
Tamas Ivan Kovács, Ambassador of Hungary to Belgium, commended the steps taken by the countries that had signed the Abraham Accords, stressing that the security of the Middle East and that of Europe are interconnected.
He stressed the importance of pushing the framework of the Accords to an advanced level to further enhance international peace and security.
Kovács noted that the regional agreement is a pioneering model that should be emulated by all countries of the world.
Ambassador Al Dosari also addressed the ceremony. He highlighted His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s vision to promote global peace and peaceful coexistence, as well as foster the values of tolerance and fraternity among humans.
He affirmed that supporting peace and stability is an essential strategy to achieve sustainable development and prosperity in the region and the world.
The ambassador pointed out that the “Bahrain Declaration”, which was launched by HM the King, reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain's rich cultural heritage and deep-rooted national values. He indicated that the Declaration had paved the way for the Abraham Accords Declaration aimed at building bridges of communication and peaceful coexistence among the peoples of the region and spreading the culture of peace and human fraternity.
