Yemeni-Syrian higher committee to meet next week in Damascus

DAMASCUS, June 19 (Saba)- The Yemeni-Syrian Joint Higher Committee
will hold its 9th round in the Syrian capital, Damascus, on 27-28
June co-chaired by both countries primers.

Yemen ambassador to Syrian Abdul-Wahab Tawaf has stated to Saba that
the meetings will discuss a number of issues with the aim of
reinforcing and developing the bilateral relations and joint
interests, in addition to fostering the inter-economic and
commercial ties and activating common investments.

The ambassador noted that the technical committee tasked with
preparing the meetings of the higher committee will meet on 24-25
June to prepare agreements and protocols drafts which will be signed
during the higher committee's meetings.

Tawaf pointed out that 10 cooperation agreements will be signed
covering a vast area of joint cooperation.
