TIKA FUNDS EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR AZERBAIJANI STUDENTS AND TEACHERS

Baku, June 21 (AzerTAc). Under the TIKA-funded (Turkish International Cooperation & Development Agency) education projects, 15 teachers from regions of Azerbaijan have taken refresher course in Turkey over the year while 10 Turkish specialists from the fields of electronics, computer sciences taught courses in the vocational training centers. 30 students of the Azerbaijan Technical University were sent to Turkey for tourism internship.
The Turkish Studies Center established by the TIKA at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University has been provided with modern equipment. TIKA donated books to some educational institutions and provided financial assistance to the Nakhchivan State University.
