Taekwon-Do Science Institute of Korean Taekwon-Do Committee

Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- The DPRK Taekwon-Do players took the first place in the country standings of the 22nd Taekwon-Do World Championships. This success is associated with the devoted efforts of researchers at the Taekwon-Do Science Institute of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee.

The researchers of the Taekwon-Do Technique Laboratory made effective research achievements for increasing strength, speed and patience of players, thus helping coaches work out the plan for training.

The researchers of the Taekwon-Do Nutrition Laboratory made it possible to scientifically take in nutrition according to the intensity of training, and the Taekwon-Do Medical Treatment Research Center, too, made achievements of practical significance in maintaining the players' best condition. -0-
