Katara Inaugurates Exhibition 'Angola - Territory of Ancestral and Universal Expression'

 

 

Doha, November 02 (QNA) - The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) inaugurated the exhibition 'Angola - Territory of ancestral and universal expression'. Showcasing a group of paintings by 11 artists from Angola, the expo will continue until November 14.

Highlighting the depth of the Angolan cultural heritage through various works, the exhibition is an opportunity to emphasize the ties of friendship and cooperation between Qatar and Angola.

The exhibition's theme revolves around the concepts of celebrating the individual and collective identity of Angolans as well as the diverse and distinct meanings of their ancestors, including national, philosophical, spiritual, psychological, social and cultural aspects acquired over a period of 48 years.

The exhibition 'Angola - Territory of ancestral and universal expression' is in the form of creating an artistic narrative capable of integrating with human values and diversity for development, while preserving authenticity, individual and collective identity, and the values of freedom. (QNA)
