NCSA Organizes Awareness Workshop on "Risks of Artificial Intelligence in Media Sector" 

 
 
Doha, November 02 (QNA) - The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) organized an awareness workshop titled "Risks of Artificial Intelligence in the Media Sector," with extensive participation from both government and private media institutions in the country.
This workshop is part of NCSA's role in raising awareness among participating entities about the risks associated with artificial intelligence technology.
In this regard, the Director of Cybersecurity Strategies and Policies at the National Cyber security Agency Abdulrahman Al Shafi said that today's workshop is titled "Risks of Artificial Intelligence in the Media Sector", as it aims to shed light on raising awareness about artificial intelligence technologies and their increasing role in recent times in the field of media.
He added that there are many risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the media sector, emphasizing that the workshop provides a set of important recommendations to address the challenges and risks that all media institutions worldwide are facing.
The workshop discussed several important topics, including the risks of artificial intelligence and its impact on the media and content creation industry. It highlighted the increased reliance on digital media in our current era, which is directly influenced by artificial intelligence. The workshop also presented proposals to mitigate the risks of artificial intelligence in the media sector by following specific recommendations for media organizations.
Furthermore, the workshop addressed cyber threats related to artificial intelligence and their impact on various media sectors, including issues such as fraud, data leaks, and personal privacy violations. It also discussed how to confront and deal with these challenges, along with providing a detailed explanation of incident response procedures and recovery measures in cybersecurity incidents. (QNA)
