KJRC to build twenty houses for rainstorm-affected people



HADRAMOUT, June 21 (Saba) - The Kuwaiti Joint Relief Committee
(KJRC) announced on Sunday that it would build twenty houses for the
rainstorm-affected people in Ghail Ba-Wazir and Shohair cities of
Hadramout province.

KJRC Secretary General Faisal al-Jiran told Saba that the as soon as
the houses completed, the KJRC would hand over the houses to the
local authority to be distributed to the citizens.

The Committee will submit the houses' designs to the concerned local
officials for discussion, he said, adding that the KJRC would
contract with the contractors and supervise the construction works
in collaboration with the local authority in the governorate.

Hadramout Governor Salem al-Khanbashi has reviewed with the
Committee delegation the assistance that would be provided by the
Relief Committee to the rain-affected people.

Al-Khanbashi affirmed the local authority's keenness on cooperating
with the Committee to carry out its tasks, praising Kuwait's support
in this field.
