Yacine Brahimi Told QNA Being Top Scorer is Great Responsibility

 

 

Doha, November 01 (QNA) - Al Gharafa's Algerian footballer Yacine Brahimi said that he together with his teammate bear responsibility for losing to Al Sadd 4-0, describing that loss as the heaviest on the team, leaving them greatly disappointed.

    Yacine Brahimi told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the match against Al Sadd is Al Gharaf's first and only loss so far in the league, with Al Gharafa players courageously bearing responsibility for their insufficient performance, however, he stressed the team's ability to make it up to their fans and ensure not losing any further points. 

    As for his 11 goals, which earned him Expo Stars League top scorer, Brahimi attributed it to his teammates' cooperation, he also expressed his determination to keep his spot on the top scorers list, Brahimi said that being on that list constitutes a great responsibility, as breaking records requires an extra effort from his teammates.

    Brahimi revealed to QNA the team's ambition to secure the top positions, constantly keeping this objective in mind and giving every match its own importance and focus. 

    He added that Al Gharafa has gone back to playing well in the league in pursuit of top standings and competing at the AFC Champions League level, explaining that Al Gharafa players agreed on future plans together with the club and that team members are having their best time after their recent victories in the league.

    Brahimi said that Al Gharafa's excellent performance this season is thanks to their loyal fans, who provide them with great moral support, especially through their presence in the stadiums, which serves as the best incentive for players to give their best. (QNA)
