Yemeni-Spanish economic ties reviewed

ADEN, June 21 (Saba) - Aden Governor Adnan al-Jeffri reviewed with
the Spanish ambassador to Yemen Marcos Vega here on Sunday aspects
of bilateral relations, especially in fields of economy, trade and
investment.

The meeting dealt with the overall issues related to developing
cooperation forms between Aden and Spanish cities within the
framework of the twinning relationships between Yemeni and Spanish
cities.

The Governor welcomed the Spanish investments, calling on creating
stronger ties linking the Yemeni and Spanish businessmen, noting to
the historical relations linked Arab World with Spain.

For his part, the Spanish ambassador pointed out that the aim of his
visit to Aden is to inspect the investment opportunities and
facilities at Aden Free Zone (AFZ), expressing his country's
willingness to increase commercial activities for many Spanish
companies working in Yemen.
