Mwani Qatar Says October Saw 39 Percent Transshipment Containers Increase 

 

Doha, November 01 (QNA) - Mwani Qatar announced a 39 percent increase in transshipment containers in October, standing at about 119,448 TEU, compared to the same period last year.

    Mwani Qatar published data on Wednesday revealing an increase in building and construction materials shipments by 21 percent, reaching 54,678 tons, as well as an increase in livestock shipments by 47 percent, to reach 41,959 head of livestock; vehicles and equipment shipments on the other hand increased by 8 percent to reach 6,494 units.

    The data showed that Mwani Qatar received 77,868 tons of general and bulk cargo shipments, while the number of shipping containers in October stood at 263 ships. (QNA)
