ABEGS Honors Qatari Students Winners of Academic Excellence Award 

 
 
Muscat, October 31 (QNA) - 12 students from various public schools in the State of Qatar, within the stages of general education, were honored today in a ceremony held in Muscat, Oman after they won the Academic Excellence Award for the member states of Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS) in its 16th edition 
        The ceremony was organized by the ABEGS, in cooperation with the ministries of education in the member states.
        The students of the State of Qatar were nominated by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) to honor them among the academically outstanding at the level of the Arab Gulf countries.
        This award aims to encourage students to continue their excellence and develop their skills and abilities, to be a role model for the rest of the students, and to enhance their scientific, cultural and social communication.
        The honored students of the State of Qatar expressed In press statements, their happiness and gratitude for the Ministry’s nomination of them for this edition of the Academic Excellence Award, and called on other students to exert effort and excel in the coming years to have opportunities to participate.
        The Academic Excellence Award is an annual award, through which each member state of the ABEGS nominates 12 outstanding students representing all levels of general education for the current academic year. The award includes financial rewards, commemorative shields, and certificates for the outstanding students. (QNA)
