King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, ICO discuss cooperation

London, Oct. 31 (BNA): Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, received James Holmes, Secretary General of the International Communities Organisation (ICO), in the United Kingdom.

The meeting discussed ways to consolidate bilateral cooperation to serve mutual benefits.

Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed praised the historic Bahraini-British ties and their development in all fields, affirming the role of the ICO in empowering and developing societies.

Holmes underscored Bahrain's outstanding achievements in sustainable development goals (SDGs) and the protection of human rights.

He was briefed on the Kingdom’s experience in developing training, qualifying and capacity building within the framework of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
