SCE, UAE Embassy to hold youth workshop on climate change

Manama, Oct. 30 (BNA): The Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) and the UAE Embassy to Bahrain, will hold a Youth Workshop on Climate Change on Wednesday.

Themed "Together for Our Climate" (Together4ourclimate), the workshop is supported by Al Baraka Islamic Bank and the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF).

The youth workshop is within the framework of the ongoing Bahraini-Emirati cooperation in spreading environmental and climate culture, and educating young people about the climate challenges facing the planet Earth, marking the UAE’s preparations to host 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).

The event, targeting youth from various universities and civil society organisations, features awareness-raising lectures, workshops, and field visits to plant mangrove seedlings, as the mangrove is one of the most important plants that improve air, soil and water quality.
