Finance Minister attends FII7

Riyadh, Oct. 24 (BNA): Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, attended the opening session of the seventh edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII7) in Saudi Arabia, held under the theme "The New Compass".
The minister underscored the importance of continuing work to build global strategic partnerships that create economic opportunities and support efforts to maintain a stable and sustainable global economic system, by strengthening investment and diversifying economies to support development.
Shaikh Salman said that FII was an important platform to highlight initiatives and capabilities to support the development of technology in sectors that support economic growth.
He noted its role in consolidating international cooperation and discussing rapid changes that impact the economy and the importance of designing plans and strategies to address these changes and continue achieving economic growth.
FII7 was opened by Yasir bin O. Al Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund and Chairman of the FII Institute.
