Qatar Chamber Reviews Enhancing Cooperation with Turkiye's Izmir Chamber

Doha, October 25 (QNA) - The Qatar and Turkish Izmir chambers discussed means to enhance joint cooperation between both sides.
This came during a meeting held at the Qatar Chamber's (QC) premises between QC First Vice-Chairman Mohamed bin Twar Al Kuwari and Adnan Bozbay, a member of the 49 Assembly of Real Estate Activities Group at Izmir Chamber. During the meeting, the discussed cooperation relations between the Qatari and Turkish businesspersons, which contribute to stimulating trade exchange and establishing joint and reciprocal investments, as well as the investment climate in both Qatar and Turkiye's Izmir.
QC First Vice-Chairman praised the bilateral relations between Qatar and Turkiye across all fields. He emphasized the significance of bolstering cooperation between the business sectors of both countries to further develop their trade volume. Last year, the trade volume reached QR 8.1 billion, compared to QR 6.8 billion in 2021, marking an 18 percent growth and solidifying Turkiye as one of the most crucial trade partners for Qatar.
He highlighted the success of mutual investments in both countries and urged businessmen from both sides to further expand these investments. Additionally, he extended an invitation to Turkish companies to visit the 'Made in Qatar' expo scheduled to take place in Doha from Nov. 29 to Dec. 2.
For his part, Adnan Bozbay praised the close relations between Qatar and Turkiye, affirming the readiness of Izmir Chamber to enhance cooperation with QC across all fields.
He invited QC and Qatari businessmen to visit Izmir to get acquainted with the investment climate and opportunities available there. (QNA)
