Minister of Commerce, Industry Opens 11th Cityscape Qatar

Doha, October 24 (QNA) - Under the auspices of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bon Qassim Al-Thani on Wednesday opened the 11th edition of the Cityscape Qatar exhibition at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
HE Minister of Municipality Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie and HE President of Qatar Tourism Saad bin Ali bin Saad Al Kharji attended the opening ceremony.
About 90 property developers as well as 40 local and international speakers are participating in the exhibition to showcase the developments in the Qatari real estate market and the inventions that would contribute to realizing Qatar National Vision 2030.
Over the course of three days, the exhibition will serve as a platform for property developers to present their new existing and upcoming projects. It will also shed light on the available investment opportunities in this field.
Marketing and Communications Director at United Development Company (UDC) Hussain Akbar Al Baker voiced pride over consistent participation in the event, saying that UDC has always sought to utilize modern technologies including artificial intelligence to support digital transformation and sustainability.
Al Baker pointed out that in the exhibition, UDC will highlight its latest projects, Gewan Island Qatar, which includes mixed-use residential buildings, as well as villas overlooking the beach, a hotel, a golf course, and other service facilities.
For his part, Business Development Manager at Qetaifan Projects Company HE Sheikh Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani expressed happiness at participating in the current edition of Cityscape Qatar, to reveal the latest Qetaifan residential projects, which were launched in cooperation with local developers, on the Southern Marina Walk, on Qetaifan Island North.
He stated that during the exhibition, the company will present many investment opportunities and will showcase its operational assets, such as the Marial Water Park, which is unique to Qetaifan Island North, the Rixos Hotel, the Canal, which includes 92 food and beverage outlets, the Azur Beach Club, and others.
Moreover, GMG Holding Group revealed the details of the new 29 floors tower GMG Waterfront Residences, which is located on the waterfront of Lusail City and includes 172 apartments and chalets.
GMG Group Chairman Engineer Nasser Al Ansari said that the project reflects the company's commitment to innovation and progress, with special attention to achieving a balance between urban living styles and nature. (QNA)
