High-speed Tunneling Contest Brisk in Coal Industry of DPRK

Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) -- Coal mines in the coal industry of the DPRK have organized a high-speed tunneling contest to make remarkable progress in securing reserve coal faces.

The Ministry of Coal Industry set the high-speed tunneling contest as part of the work for increasing the coal production next year.

Thus, coal mines of Tokchon, Kaechon, Pukchang, Kujang and Sunchon area coal mining complexes have secured a lot of reserve coal faces by strengthening inter-shift cooperation and introducing advanced blasting methods. -0-
