Qatar's Minister of State for International Cooperation Meets French Ambassador

Doha, October 22 (QNA) - HE Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met on Sunday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with HE Ambassador of the French Republic to the State of Qatar Jean-Baptiste Faivre. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and avenues for supporting and developing them, in addition to discussing developments of the situations in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially Gaza and means of de-escalation. They also discussed, during the meeting, the latest developments in Ukraine, the importance of Qatari mediations and assistance, along with the situations in Afghanistan, particularly girls' education. HE Minister of State for International Cooperation expressed, during the meeting, the State of Qatar's firm position in condemning all forms of targeting the civilians, adding that killing innocent civilians, especially women and children and practicing the policy of collective punishment are unacceptable under any pretext. Her Excellency underscored the importance of entry of relief convoys and humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian brothers trapped under bombardment. (QNA)
