HH the Amir Receives Phone Call from Prime Minister of Spain

 

 

Doha, October 19 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Thursday from HE Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain Dr. Pedro Sanchez.

During the call, they discussed relations of cooperation and friendship between the two countries. In addition, they discussed regional and international developments, particularly developments in the Palestinian territories.

In that regard, HH the Amir stressed Qatar's firm stance in condemning all forms of targeting civilians and the need to make more efforts to reduce escalation, spare civilians the consequences of fighting, open safe corridors for relief and humanitarian efforts in Gaza, and ensure that violence does not expand regionally.

For his part, HE Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain praised HH the Amir's role and the State of Qatar's regional and international diplomatic efforts.  (QNA)
