RAJABOV BEATS KAMSKY IN ROMANIA
Baku, June 22 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s grandmaster Teymur Rajabov has defeated American Gata Kamsky in the seventh round of an international tournament in Bazna, Romania, increasing his points to 4.
The day`s other results are as follows: Vassily Ivanchuk 1-0 Alexei Shirov, Dieter Nisipeanu 0.5-0.5 Boris Gelfand.
After seven rounds, Ivanchuk leads the table with 5.5 points, Gelfand has 4.5 points, Shirov 3.5 points, Nisipeanu 2 points and Kamsky scored 1.5 points.
