Attorney General participates in GCC meeting

Muscat, Oct. 17 (BNA): Dr. Ali bin Fadhel Al Buainin, Attorney General, participated in the 15th meeting of the Public Prosecutors and Attorneys General of the GCC countries.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Al Buainain reviewed previous decisions to upgrade the performance and work mechanisms. He called for continuing to hold highly specialised training courses for members to ensure success in confronting crime.
The meeting discussed topics on its agenda, including the artificial intelligence (AI) Ethics Document, which was based on the proposal of the Attorney General's Office of Bahrain on the use of AI in the work of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
It also reviewed experiences regarding cases of financial fraud, visual investigation, classification of crimes, and specialised prosecutions.
The meeting concluded by issuing decisions and recommendations.
