Expo 2023 Doha Hosts Arab Productive Families Exhibition on October 22

Doha, October 17 (QNA) - The International Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha will host the seven-day Second Arab Productive Families Exhibition, which will be organized by the Ministry of Social Development and Family on October 22 at the Cultural Zone, featuring the participation of 21 Arab countries.
The exhibition will include several seminars and workshops discussing the challenges faced by productive families in Arab countries. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn from the experiences of producers and exhibitors representing various Arab countries. The event will also include the celebration of an encouragement award for productive families.
Each participating country will have a designated space to showcase and sell their products, including clothing, gifts, handicrafts, and more. Additionally, there will be a section dedicated to innovative products from projects involving individuals with disabilities.
The importance of this Arab exhibition lies in fostering cultural and commercial exchanges, strengthening relationships among Arab productive families, and supporting their economic empowerment. Notably, the exhibition serves as a platform for environmentally friendly projects by productive families and plays a significant role in safeguarding many industries from decline.
The Ministry of Social Development and Family, through the Family Empowerment Division, is participating in Expo 2023 Doha with 60 domestic projects, as it aims to support and empower national project owners, promote their products locally and internationally, and contribute to enhancing and elevating local products, aligning with the principle of instilling a culture of sustainability in Qatar, transforming individuals from consumers into producers, and boosting the quality of local products.
