Sheikh Joaan Participates in 141st IOC Session Meeting

Mumbai (India), October 17 (QNA) - HE President of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and First Vice President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani participated in the meeting of the 141st International Olympic Committee (IOC) Session, which was held today in Mumbai, India under chairmanship of the IOC President Dr. Thomas Bach and in presence of members of the Executive Board, IOC members, presidents of international federations, and presidents of national Olympic committees.
During the meeting, topics related to the development of the Olympic movement were discussed, and the State of Qatar was thanked for its contribution and support to the Olympic Refugee Foundation, in addition to reviewing the topics on the agenda and taking the necessary decisions regarding them.
The meeting was also attended by HE Secretary-General of QOC Jassim Rashid Al Buainain.
In a related context, HE the President of QOC and First Vice President of the ANOC attended a working luncheon for the Executive Council of ANOC on the sidelines of the 141st IOC Session meeting. (QNA)
