RHF Secretary-General recieves Canadian International Development Minister

Manama, Nov. 12 (BNA): Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), received Ahmed Hussen, Canadian Minister of International Development.

The secretary general commended Bahrain-Canada relations.

He expressed his appreciation to the minister for his interest in learning about RHF and its humanitarian efforts.

Al Sayed affirmed that the visit would contribute to enhancing bilateral cooperation in many fields.

He briefed the minister on the foundation's history and its efforts in providing support to orphans, widows and various groups of society and aid to various countries abroad.

Minister Hussen hailed the royal interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in providing humanitarian aid to those in need or affected by natural disasters all over the world.

He also praised the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, in leading the foundation and emphasising its role locally and internationally.
